scammers who try to tack on literally…

scammers who try to tack on literally dozens of extra charges.
They attempt to sneak in about 100$ worth of Travelers insurance lmfao. im pretty sure some highschoolers made this scam site but i may be giving them too much credit. i could code better websites when i was in 7th grade compsci class

Made good on their word

Scammed for my money. Paid for the tickets, never got the tickets, received an email within 1 hour saying they had changed price and they will refund my money in 7-10 business days when the transaction is still pending on my account.
UPDATE: They did refund my money three days after they had taken the money out of my account. Thanks budgetair!
There really should be a contact number though. The chat bot doesn’t function at all

Worst service provider ever

Worst service provider ever. They don't even have a customer service to talk to. We have to deal with the only chat bot available that gives fixed responses no matter what you want.

Hopeless. No comms, no service, still awaiting a refund. Amazed they are still in business

Booked a flight which was cancelled. Despite up to 34 emails to them, and getting very generic replies, my funds have yet to be returned. They have NO CONTACT number to actually call. Their "chat" is a robot and there are no people to chat with. The email response time is over a week. I had to chase down with the airline myself to get the refund initiated - and once it was actioned I'm still without my funds a week later. Still no action ! I am so angry !

Scammers! AVOID AT ALL COSTS

The airline has changed the flight, obviously did not fit my needs. Airbudget would not refund me the outbound flight, but ask me to select a different flight according to their own schedule. Their customer support is not available.

TERRIBLE

TERRIBLE! THEY CHANGED MY FLIGHT WITH THREE DAYS OF THE TRIP AND HAVE NO CUSTOMER SERVICE! YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN TO TRY TO FIX THEIR HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!
THEY DON'T FIX THINGS AND THE AIRLINES SAYS CANNOT FIX BECAUSE YOU BOUGHT IT THROUGH AGENCY.

Very bad customer service

I would give no star if it was possible. Worst customer service. In case your flight get cancel, you won’t get reimbursed. Rude and unprofessional Customer service.

Budgetair is a scam

Budgetair is a scam. For pandemic many airlines waved their change fees so when I wanted to reschedule my Qatar airlines ticket budget air was charging me $220 on top of their $100 fees saying $220 is not from them it’s from Qatar airlines. I have called Qatar airlines couple times to confirm all change fees are waived. Budget air keep lying and continue their scam to to charge me fake $220. PLEASE BE Aware from this website they are thief.

I made the stupid mistake of purchasing my ticket through BudgetAir because it was the cheapest option that came up. I have never regretted a ticket purchase more and the savings are NOT worth the stress/hassle/frustration of dealing with everything that follows. I was horrified to read these reviews after and feel helpless and even more stupid.
I didn't receive the E-ticket after 10 days of booking my ticket, despite the flight being 6 days from now. With COVID, it's not like you could book months in advance and problems like this aren't an issue. I couldn't contact anyone from here to ask about or fix the issue.
Customer service doesn't exist. No phone number, doesn't reply to emails, chatbot functions are extremely limited and you aren't even able to type anything into the chat. There is no chat box basically. Even when you're "getting connected to an agent," the agent never shows up.
I'm thankful that I wasn't in a situation where I had to change or cancel my flight and had to go through BudgetAir to do so. I'm thankful I was smart enough to directly contact the airline (who had amazing customer service) to have the ticket sent to me. I know many other reviewers here haven't been as fortunate to get their issues solved.
If you're here after making a mistake, hope we both learn from this to always do our research before handing our money to someone else.
If you're here beforehand to check reviews, kudos to you. Please ignore the few positive reviews you might've been looking for and take the overwhelming advice to save yourself the trouble.
BudgetAir, please do better. It doesn't matter if you "look legit." Don't cut costs on customer service, especially if you're selling expensive tickets that most of your customers can barely afford.

0 start. Horrible. Cant reach customer care. Website showing price and when I booked and they confirm and send booking number but didn’t send travel documents and when i asked they said the price is increased and I have to pay more and after that they didn’t reply on my email , mow I didn’t know my booking is canceled or booked in higher price or what no one answer very bad website and customer service

After 12 weeks Im still waiting for a…

After 12 weeks Im still waiting for a refund for 3 flights booked. They cancelled the flights when Amsterdam airport was closed in January, Im still waiting for a refund. Very poor company avoid, if I could give no stars that is what I would do.

Unreliable and disappointing

This company is a joke. I booked a flight ticket from the US to Europe with them, along with travel insurance (I wanted to be on the safe side due to covid). A couple of days after, they let me know that they could not secure my travel insurance. Oh well, that's fine I thought.
10 days before my flight, I realized that my reservation was canceled by the airline. Budgetair didn't even bother sending me an email. After signing into my account, I saw that they simply pushed my flight onto the next day, without asking, confirming or even informing me. I really need to be at my destination on my planned date, so this leaves me high and dry. I tried to call them but - guess what- you can't! They only communicate via email. It should be noted that it was the airline that put me on a different flight and not Budgetair.
I am a frequent flyer and have booked tickets with myriads of airlines or third party agencies. Don't waste your time and money on these amateurs, buy your ticket somewhere else.

Good luck, Budgetair do not answer emails, nor do they answer the telephone, they only sell tickets, it is a revenue stream for them they have no customer service, you will reach an automated message saying they are busy or use some other excuse as to why there is a long waiting time, right now they are using COVID, I have been trying to call them since early February!

I know I am answering this too late but trying to cancel through Budgetair is a NO GO they do not answer the phone or emails it is a complete and utter scam. Always cancel with your airline first to be safe like I did... Since early February Budget Air has yet to answer the phone or return my emails, AVOID USING THIS COMPANY AGAIN!

Just use google but even when you do get the number they do not answer the phone, nor do they answer your emails, it is doubtful you will get your money back!
